Speakeasy Murder at Sea – Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Speakeasy Murder at Sea, we understand that sometimes “things happen.” Life can be unpredictable, and our goal is to make your experience with us as smooth and enjoyable as possible. If your plans change, we will first and foremost do our very best to rebook you on a future Speakeasy Murder at Sea sailing so you don’t miss the adventure. If rebooking is not possible, we will issue a refund in accordance with the guidelines set forth in our cancellation and refund policy. 

1. Cancellation Timeframes & Penalties

• 90 or more days before departure: Full refund of cruise fare, minus any non-refundable deposit.
• 89–75 days prior: 25% of total fare is forfeited.
• 74–61 days prior: 50% of total fare is forfeited.
• 60–31 days prior: 75% of total fare is forfeited.
• 30 days or less: No refund is issued.
   

2. Non-Refundable Deposits
Certain promotions and fare types may require a non-refundable deposit. These amounts are not eligible for refund under any circumstances.

3. Taxes, Fees & Port Charges
Regardless of cancellation timing, all port charges, taxes, and government fees are fully refundable if they were prepaid.

4. Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, whether it be a credit card or travel agent.

5. Travel Insurance & Penalty Waiver
We strongly recommend purchasing travel protection, which offers cancellation penalty waivers and coverage for certain covered reasons including illness or emergency.

6. No–Show & Mid-Cruise Cancellations
Cancellations after embarkation, early disembarkation, or failure to board (no-shows) are non-refundable and will not receive compensation.
